We only bring on coaches who are truly passionate about the game and committed to treating all players fairly, regardless of their experience level. Every coach on our staff holds at least one U.S.-certified grassroots coaching license. Our mission is to train and develop players who aspire to compete at the collegiate level while fostering a lifelong love for the game.

Executive Director, President & Coach Sporting United FC, Founded in 2020 in the heart of Cordova is a nonprofit youth soccer organization dedicated to making the beautiful game accessible to every child, regardless of background or financial means. Our founder, Randy—originally from Liberia, West Africa—knows firsthand the power of soccer to unite, inspire, and transform lives. Coaches 2014/15 Boys. What began as a vision for an inclusive, affordable, and community-driven club has grown into a proud member of the Tennessee State Soccer Association, serving kids of all races and cultures with quality training, mentorship, and a deep love for the game. At Sporting United, we believe soccer is more than a sport—it’s a universal language that builds character and opens doors.

Chris Hubbard is a passionate and dedicated soccer coach with over 11 years of experience, including 9 years coaching competitive soccer. A USSF C-licensed coach, Chris has worked extensively in both Washington, D.C., and Memphis, TN, fostering the growth and development of players at all levels.
Chris’s journey in soccer began at the age of 4 in Collierville, TN, where he played for local clubs like CSA, Lobos, and Memphis Futbol Club. His talent and commitment to the sport led him to Howard University, where he competed at the NCAA Division I level, showcasing his skills on a national stage.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Human Development, Chris combines his academic background with his coaching expertise to help players achieve both personal and athletic growth. His holistic approach emphasizes not only technical and tactical skills but also mental resilience and teamwork.
Chris’s dedication to soccer and his players continues to inspire and shape the next generation of athletes. Whether on the field or off, he strives to build a lasting impact through the game he loves.
